Schwami & Me

The Open Forum,
and why it exists.

If you have felt the room go quiet, you are in the right place.

Most spaces for people who look or move differently are organised around a diagnosis. You have to find your group, prove you belong in it, and hope it is active.

We built the Open Forum instead. One space, open to anyone who has ever felt different walking into a room, regardless of what is causing it. A scar, a paralysis, a tumour, a difference nobody has put a name to yet.

This is not about comparing conditions or ranking who has had it worse. It is about the thing we all actually share: knowing what it is like to be looked at before you are heard.

That is the only membership requirement.

Four rules. That is the whole rulebook.

No ranking

Nobody's difference is the real one. We do not compare scars for status.

No unasked advice

If someone wants suggestions they will say so. Otherwise, just sit with them.

Jokes yes, punching down no

Laugh at the situation, at yourself, at the stranger who asked. Not at each other.

What is said here stays here

No screenshots, no reposting, no exporting someone's worst day to your feed.

Getting in takes three steps, none involving paperwork

The forum lives here

This block is where your Circle or Discord embed drops in. Until it is connected, the button below sends people to you.

Looked at before you are heard.

That is the thing we all share. Everything else is detail.
